Your first wax? We will walk you through it.
You can have questions. You can be nervous. You can tell us what you want to keep, remove, or talk through first.
A little preparation helps.
Let hair grow to about ¼ inch so the wax has something to grip. Arrive with clean skin and tell us about sensitivities, medications, and recent skin treatments.
Using retinol or a prescription retinoid? Check with your prescriber and esthetician before facial waxing. Do not stop prescribed treatment on your own. Do not wax while taking isotretinoin or for six months afterward.
You stay part of the conversation.
Your esthetician checks your skin and confirms the areas and shape before starting. Speak up about discomfort or ask for a pause whenever you need one.
Afterward, keep care gentle. Avoid hot baths and friction on freshly waxed skin, choose loose clothing, and follow the aftercare advice for your service. Some redness or tenderness can happen.
Preparation guidance: American Academy of Dermatology waxing tips. Let us know about sunburn, irritated skin, or recent peels before your appointment.

Waxing questions, answered.
How much does waxing cost?
Lip and chin waxing are $15 each, brows $22, underarms and shoulders $25 each, bikini and lower legs $45 each, full face $60, Brazilian $65, back $75, and full legs $80. Choose the area you want from the menu above.
What is the difference between bikini and Brazilian waxing?
Bikini waxing tidies hair around the bikini line. Brazilian waxing involves more extensive intimate hair removal. Tell your esthetician your preferences before the service. See our Brazilian waxing page for details.
How long should my hair be?
About ¼ inch is a useful starting point. If you have recently shaved or are unsure whether the hair is long enough, contact us before your visit. Avoid trimming it very short.
Does waxing hurt?
Waxing can cause a brief sting, and sensitivity varies by person and area. We will explain the process. Let your esthetician know if you need a pause or if something feels wrong.
Can I wax if I use retinol or have sensitive skin?
Tell us before booking. Retinol, prescription retinoids, recent peels, and irritated or sunburned skin can affect whether waxing is appropriate. Ask your prescriber about prescribed products. Do not wax during isotretinoin treatment or for six months after stopping it.
Can I book several areas in one visit?
Ask us to help coordinate your services so enough appointment time is reserved. Call or text (614) 604-6358 if you cannot find the combination you want online.
What if I need to cancel?
Please give at least 12 hours’ notice to cancel without charge. See our full cancellation policy for details.
